Medical Receptionist: Job Description
Position:
Full-time - Must be able to work at our Bellevue and Woodinville locations
Summary of Position:
Bellevue Vision Clinic is the oldest eye clinic on the eastside of the greater Seattle area and has been providing exceptional eye care for over 70 years. We take pride in serving our community and continuing the tradition of building strong relationships and have fifth generation patients.

Our medical receptionists are responsible for seamlessly directing patients through the intake and checkout process. They will ensure that all procedures are closely followed, from pulling correct patient files to charting insurance information and collecting payments. This position requires high attention to detail, organizational skills, and a friendly demeanor.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments over phone, by email, via text, and online
- Greeting patients in a courteous and friendly manner
- Basic invoicing, and A/R management, Process payments by phone, mail, and online
- Update and verify insurance benefits by phone, fax, and online
- Take clear and concise messages
- Checking patients in and out for appointments
- Accurately triage and schedule emergency medical appointments
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to work at our Woodinville and Bellevue Location
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: $22 per hour (based on relevant experience)
