Optometric Technician: Job Description
Position:
Full-time - Must be able to travel between our Bellevue an Woodinville location as needed.
Summary of Position:
Bellevue Vision Clinic is the oldest eye clinic on the eastside of the greater Seattle area and has been providing exceptional eye care for over 75 years. We take pride in serving our community and continuing the tradition of building strong relationships and have fifth generation patients.

Our Optometric Technicians are responsible for assisting our Doctors in providing exceptional care to our patient’s. They will ensure that all procedures are closely followed, from proper charting, using various pretesting machines, and making sure each patients is ready for their appointment. This position requires high attention to detail, organizational skills, and a friendly demeanor. This position will work closely with Medical Receptionists, Doctors, and will complete various tasks as needed.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Pre-testing patients for exam
- Greeting patients in a courteous and friendly manner
- Accurately prepare and update new and established patient charts
- Call in prescriptions, and prescription refills to pharmacies
- Accurately triage and schedule emergency medical appointments and referrals
- Contact lens, product ordering, and training
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to work at both our Bellevue and Woodinville locations

Compensation: Starting from $22 (depending on experience)
