Job SpecificsLocation : 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301FTE Status : full-time, 32-40 hours per weekWork Schedule : day shiftWork Environment : Our Ortho / Neuro unit consists of 30 beds. The orthopedic surgery patients mainly undergo total joint replacements, including hips, knees, and shoulders. Typically, these patients are discharged on the day of surgery and are expected to transition to the surgical center eventually. Opportunities for cross-training are available for those interested in the surgical center. The neurosurgery patients undergo procedures involving the spine, neck, and brain, with common surgeries being fusions, laminectomies, decompressions, craniotomies, and tumor resections. Our medical team specializes in caring for orthopedic and neurologic patients, managing all fractures that present to the hospital, as well as surgical site infections and other postoperative complications.Want to learn more : Chat with Kayla M. Niquette at kayla.niquette@bellin.orgJob Description : Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.As a CNA at Bellin Health you will perform diagnostic testing, act as a preceptor under the guidance of an RN for new nursing assistants, and assist with the organization of patient rooms, including emptying garbage and stocking linens and other supplies. You will perform refrigerator checks, phlebotomy, and EKGs, ensuring age-appropriate care and service. Your commitment to reliable, predictable outcomes and minimizing needless waits is essential. Proficiency in using Information Systems to their full capability is required.
