TITLE: SUMMER SCHOOL CLERK
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Summer School Clerk, working directly under the Summer School Director organizes summer school registrations as well as any other pertinent information related to Summer School.
SCHEDULE: July 7th – July 31st
(Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 10:00am)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy, productive, and efficient office.
- Responsible for public relations work, telephone and personal: including parents, teachers, principals and other administrators.
- Serves as a receptionist dealing effectively and courteously with people.
- Places and returns telephone calls and records messages.
- Maintains confidentiality of work performed.
- Establishes a good rapport and cooperates with all personnel.
- Adheres to the adopted policies of the Bellingham School Committee.
SALARY: $2,000 Stipend
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Requires sitting and repetitive movement.
REPORTS TO: Summer School Director
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
