What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Supv position at Bellisio Foods?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To monitor all Plant Processes, Procedures and Paperwork
- To be a source for all information including GMP’s, SSOP’s and HACCP Plans
- To provide support and guidance to Quality Assurance Facilitators
- To report deficiencies in paperwork and any issues involving Non-Compliance of Company Policies
- Train all QA Facilitators, Production Staff and Production Management
- Must be able to develop confidence in others through consistency
- Able to prioritize workload and adapt as work load changes
- Make timely decisions and take immediate actions when appropriate
- Must understand basic business operations and possess good management skills
- Must have knowledge of Company GMP’s, SSOP’s and HACCP Plans
- Possess good verbal and written communication
- Be familiar with Microsoft Windows, outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be comfortable in front of groups and able to pass on information through training of Departmental Employees as well as Production Staff and Management
- Diversity – Must understand and utilize differences in opinion and style.
- Must maintain flexibility in varying environments and different tasks.
- Be good at negotiating so that problems solved are beneficial to all parties.
- Ability to arrive at agreements with others that have clear terms, conditions and timeframes.
- Have a general overview of Company Regulations for Safety and insure that all are being followed.
- Knowledge to train employees.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 Years Basic Knowledge of Food Manufacturing Processes
- General Computer Knowledge
- 1 Year Previous Management Experience
- 95% of time is spent with Internal Employees
- 5% of time is spent with External Personnel such as USDA, etc.
- Good Communication/Listening Skills are required
- Also good collaboration and conflict management skills are needed.
