What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Bellman Oil Co., Inc?
We are looking for a driver with a minimum of a Class B CDL with a hazmat endorsement to deliver petroleum products in a safe and timely manner.
Delivery area is a 100 mile radius from Bremen, Indiana
Position includes paid Vacation and Holidays, monthly paid sales bonus, 401K and medical insurance paid 100% by employer and Life Insurance
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Work together with other drivers and warehouse manager to get trucks loaded for next day delivery
Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid truck driving license

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
