Cabinet Shipping Loader/Picker- Day Shift

Purpose:

At Bellmont Cabinet Company, we take pride in producing and delivering high-quality cabinetry that transforms spaces. As a Shipping Loader/Picker, you will be an integral part of ensuring our products are shipped out safely and on time. In this role, you will be responsible for locating completed orders in our inventory, staging them for loading, and assisting in loading out-of-state, local trucks, and will-call orders. Your role will be essential in organizing the cabinets to maximize truck space while ensuring their safe transport.

This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the physical stamina to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. While the role involves significant physical effort, we are committed to improving our processes to enhance safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, or store items according to the delivery/routing documents
• Proper stacking of all items to ensure products arrive damage free in transit
• Scan and print all documents needed for shipments, ensuring order accuracy
• Perform quality control inspection of entire cabinet and alert supervisor to any items to that do not meet quality standards
• Perform work in a manner that complies with the company’s safety policies, this includes housekeeping, organization, and PPE.

Qualifications

Attributes / Qualifications:

The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability, and environmental conditions required

• Must be able to read and understand a tape measure
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 75lbs on a consistent basis
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Have good oral and written communication skills
• Utilize strategic thinking to improve upon daily tasks and problem solve as needed
• Be a multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment
• Prior shipping experience is desired, but not required

Physical Demands:

• This role requires significant physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. We understand that the work can be demanding, which is why we are continually implementing improvements to make the job safer and more efficient.

Required Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
