Team Lead
A Team Lead at Bellmont Cabinet Company provides leadership and instruction so others on the team and can complete tasks quickly and effectively. Even though a Team Lead does not make all of the decisions, they serve as guides to answer questions, offer insight and organize responsibilities. Most importantly Team Leads set a positive example for those working on their team. They also follow company policies and ensure team members adhere to Bellmonts Core Values, standards, and guidelines.
Lead Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor, provide feedback and improve the skill set and productivity of the team
- Work to inspire team members by setting a positive example
- Enforce quality standards and ensure complete accuracy
- Manage the department schedule and overall workload of the team as well as monitor individual efficiency
- Make recommendations and suggest areas for improvement to Department Supervisor
- Notify the Department Supervisor of any employee related issues and make recommendations
- Manage and maintain inventory within the department
- Follow all routine maintenance schedules for equipment within the department
Qualifications
Lead Requirements/Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Production environment experience required
- A minimum of 1 year experience at Bellmont Cabinet Co. preferred but not required
- Capable of remaining calm and composed under pressure
- Strong communication/relationship skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Problem solving ability
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Basic Computer Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent
