We are Bellows Associates, P.A., a rapidly growing accounting firm in Coral Springs, Florida. We are currently seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper with 3 – 7 years of strong accounting experience to support our clients. Our ideal candidate will work as part of the Accounting/Tax team to provide client bookkeeping, financials, and general accounting needs.
This position involves full charge accounting.
Responsibilities:
· Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, recording cash receipts.
· Working on accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable.
· Payroll services knowledge a plus.
· Assisting clients with maintaining their company’s fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports as needed ensuring readiness for tax filings, deadlines, and audits.
· The ability to take accounting processes all the way to financial statement preparation.
· Bookkeeping: Enter data, maintain records, and produce financial reports.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting a plus or equivalent training/experience.
· Strong proficiency with QuickBooks desktop, QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office required
· 3-7 years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper, or similar position.
· Experience in month-end closing activities, including preparation of various journal entries.
· Experience in handling AR & AP.
· A self-starter who is organized, follows deadlines and work within a team.
