What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician position at Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical?
Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is accepting applications for skilled Electricians. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
The job duties include:
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Reading blueprints.
- Ability to learn and perform generator maintenance
- Running and bending conduit, wiring and terminating devices, and performing quality control testing and troubleshooting.
- Responding to service calls, including emergency calls, nights/weekends/overtime, as required.
- Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in residential retrofit and remodel settings
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving moderately heavy objects.
- Work and communicate effectively with customers, office staff, apprentices, vendors, and other tradespeople.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the necessary repairs.
- Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects.
- Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and job bids.
Requirements:
- California Electrician Certification
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Passionate about coaching and teaching assistants
- Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured on our policy
- Ability to communicate with customers and interact with various employees in the company
- Willing to travel to various job sites in the bay area
