The role of Business Development Manager is a pivotal role and new function within Bellrock Critical Engineering.
Business Development Manager will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities within the Hard FM sector, and responsible from initial contact to compiling the quotation and final negotiation to order ensuring the client is happy and the services delivered are on budget and profitably for the group. The role will report to the Head of Business Development.

We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, The successful candidate would be expected to be working in a hybrid role, working from The Sheffield Head Office when required or home or field base, depending on the needs of the business and those of the clients, there will the requirement for monthly meetings at Head Office in Sheffield. The role is a full time hours 40 per week. Monday-Friday 8.30am to -5.00pm.

- Be an expert in hard FM services across, education, healthcare, local authority, commercial, retail, hospitality & leisure.
- Work effectively with our internal teams across The Bellrock Group.
- Be proficient in writing accurate quotes and compelling proposals.
- Have the skills necessary to ‘sell’ effectively, negotiate with confidence and have the abilities to close the deal.
- Ability to build long term profitable business relationships.
- Ability to self-source opportunities, carry out necessary market research to understand what motivates our target clients, and key decision makers.

- A proven track record within the Facilities Management Business Sector.
- A proven “door opener”.
- Excellent negotiator, communicator and closer.
- Articulate, with an attention to detail.
- A hunter, someone that will go looking for the opportunities.
- Team player.
- To learn and use daily our in-house CRM, to upload all customer correspondence, business updates and deal progress, this is where we manage all client touchpoints, sales pipeline, sales conversion and sales activity.
- To hold a full UK valid driving license.
- The role will require frequent travel and some overnight stays.
- Commercial mindset.
- Time management skills.
