A detail-oriented and versatile professional, with a keen interest in Health & Safety (H&S) and Supply Chain Management. In this dual role, you will be responsible for analysing and maintaining the health and safety protocols within the organisation while also supporting supply chain operations to ensure smooth and efficient business processes. This unique position requires someone who can manage both health and safety initiatives and administrative supply chain tasks to enhance productivity and compliance across the organisation.

Health & Safety (H&S) Analyst Duties

  • Health & Safety Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to workplace injuries, accidents, and near-misses to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Using Track Record to ensure the organisation complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on health and safety performance to management, with insights into trends, issues, and progress.
  • Data Analysis: Analysing data like maintenance records, energy usage, and incident reports to identify potential compliance risks and areas for improvement.
  • Safety Training: Report on attendance of safety training programs, ensuring a strong culture of Health and Safety awareness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on industry standards and best practices to recommend new processes, technologies, and safety improvements.

Supply Chain Administration Duties

  • Supply Chain Management: Support the onboarding process, track suppliers progress and deliver supplier training on use of concerto to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of supply chain activities, record contracts, entering data into relevant systems, and generating regular reports for management regarding supply chain performance and trends.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers to ensure effective communication, resolve issues, and support operations with cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Finance: Support Suppliers with invoice queries, liaising with finance and managing agents for all payment file batch issues.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies within the supply chain processes and recommend improvements to streamline.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Operations, HR, Finance) to ensure seamless integration between supply chain management and health & safety practices.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Be proactive in the interpretation of performance data to create insights that help challenge supplier performance and identify the opportunities that support a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Passion to resolve challenges and improve service delivery.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to communicate at various levels both internally and externally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Clearly articulate succinctly difficult or complex information. Preferable a qualification in data analytics.
  • Flexible and adaptable in different situations, aware of impact on others.
  • Professional qualification in Health and Safety, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (typically 2 years) in a health and safety analyst or Supply Chain Administrator role.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain Processes and Supplier Management
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Working arrangements

We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from home Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00.
