The Job
The Customer Service Representative is a Contact Center role specializing in deposit member sales, service and transaction processing, online banking support, and proactive loan referrals. A CSR is responsible for overall member satisfaction by delivering outstanding member service via telephone and through our electronic and online channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively and consistently seeks opportunities to cross sell Bellwether Community Credit Union's deposit products and e-services to members and nonmembers, as outlined in the CCSR Referral Program.
- Actively works to save members time and money using our Loan Wizard tool to find and refer loan opportunities to Contact Center Member Consultants with lending capabilities.
- Participates in outbound calling efforts.
- Responsible for ensuring error free and accurate completion of member service requests to include financial transactions and account maintenance.
- Demonstrate strong decision making skills as they relate to security and fraud prevention.
- Answers inquiries, provide information and resolves concerns (on the phone, through secure messages, and in our online answer resource library) on accounts or electronic services utilized by the member.
- Understands and complies with all Federal, State and BSA regulations.
Qualifications
- Understanding of and ability to learn Credit Union and Contact Center operations; including policies, procedures, compliance, and security.
- Strong interactive written and verbal communication skills to ensure members understanding.
- Exhibit positive attitude and professionalism, projecting a positive image as a representative for the Credit Union.
- Demonstrated proficient use of Credit Union software and technologies to include Microsoft Office suite.
