About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Flow Production Tracking Technical
Director (TD) to join our dynamic studio pipeline team in the animation and VFX industry. The
ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production tracking systems, with a focus on
Autodesk Flow, and a proven ability to design and deploy custom tools that streamline
workflows. You will work closely with artists, engineers, and coordinators across departments to
ensure a seamless production environment that supports cutting-edge creative projects.
Key Responsibilities
● Flow Production Integration:
○ Lead the integration of Autodesk Flow into the existing production pipeline
○ Customize and develop tools to enhance the functionality of the Flow production
tracking system
● Pipeline Development:
○ Design, develop, and maintain software tools to optimize production workflows
across departments
○ Work directly with department leads, artists, and coordinators to identify
workflow challenges and implement solutions
● Technical Support & Training:
○ Provide ongoing technical support and training for users of the Flow systems
○ Document processes and maintain technical standards for production tracking
● Collaboration:
○ Act as a liaison between production teams and the pipeline department to align
technical solutions with creative needs
○ Collaborate with Production Management, Puppet and Set Fabrication,
Stage/Camera, Story/Editorial, VFX, and other departments to support workflow
efficiencies
Qualifications
Experience:
● 3 to 5 years of experience as a Pipeline TD or similar role in the animation, VFX, or
creative industries
● Proven expertise in production tracking systems, with a focus on Autodesk Flow
Technical Skills:
● Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C , or similar
● Strong understanding of production workflows and tools used across various
departments
● Experience with software development, debugging, and technical troubleshooting
● Familiarity with version control systems and database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
● Experience with other production tracking systems or cloud-based tools
● Knowledge of 3D production tools like Maya, Houdini, or Blender
● Familiarity with pipeline scripting, APIs, and automation technique
