Bellwood Developmental Center an 82 bed ICF/DD Facility is looking for experienced, creative & dependable Full Time, Part Time & PRN Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for All shifts to join our dynamic, caring, progressive and close-knit community. $1500 sign on bonus.
SUMMARY: The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for providing resident care and support in all activities of daily living and ensures the health, welfare and safety of all residents in a DD setting. Facility will train you to be a Direct Support Professional. DSP Certification Not necessary to be hired.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of a Direct Support Professional (DSP):
Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
Provide assistance in personal hygiene by assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned
If you are not Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certified, we will train and help you become Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certified.
