Bellwood Developmental Center an 82 bed ICF / DD Facility is looking for experienced, creative & dependable Housekeeping Aide's to join our dynamic, caring, progressive and close-knit community. Full time and Part time positions available.
The Housekeeper cleans and services an assigned portion of the facility including furniture, floors, and equipment. Maintains the assigned area to ensure it is clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive.
Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities :
- Gathers and disposes of trash ensuring plastic liners are in containers at all times.
- Sweeps, wet mops, and sanitizes floors daily.
- Empties trash bins and maintains a clean environment surrounding the dumpster.
- Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, hallways, metal fixtures, light fixtures, tops of windows, doorframes, and other high places using a step ladder if necessary.
- Hangs draperies, privacy curtains, etc. as necessary.
- Keeps utility room and housekeeping closets in order and sanitized.
- Follows established sanitation and safety standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
