The Recruiter I is responsible for supporting the Recruiter and team in meeting hiring goals established by Belmar Pharma Solutions. The recruiting team is responsible for working with hiring managers to determine departmental staffing needs, creating, and posting job requisitions, sourcing, and screening for qualified and diverse applicants, and coordinating the interview process. Working with the hiring manager, the recruiter will facilitate offers of employment to include negotiating the appropriate salary, creating the offer letter, facilitating background and drug screening, scheduling start dates and new hire orientation.
- Consults with the hiring manager to understand the requirements, duties and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
- Post and actively source potential candidates for vacant positions.
- Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interview phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
- Communicate with candidates regarding the interview and hiring process.
- Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events and other networking opportunities.
- Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine if an offer of employment can be made; collects feedback when a placement is unsuccessful.
- Coordinates meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and hiring managers when necessary.
- Partners with the Recruiting team and Director of HR to maintain compliance with applicable equal employment (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
- Performs other HR duties as assigned.
