What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide position at Belmont Healthcare Center?
We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry items in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will also have experience in using laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and steam presses.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate laundry items according to type and color.
- Load and unload washing machines and dryers.
- Monitor machines to ensure proper functioning.
- Fold, hang, and store clean laundry items.
- Clean lint traps in dryers.
- Maintain a clean work area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
