About The Role
In this position, you will play an active role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event. Working collaboratively with our Dining Room Manager and Dining Room Servers, you will provide hands-on table service while taking a lead role with special event coordination and facilitation.
Typical Responsibilities
- Working as support in the absence of the Dining Room Manager supervising servers, serving a group of tables in the dining room, taking & delivery of orders, and ensuring overall satisfaction of guests.
- Ensures exceptional sanitation and service standards are met in our Restaurant, Bistro and other dining event spaces
- Works collaboratively with residents and other Belmont Village team members to plan, coordinate and facilitate special dining events and celebrations
- Works collaboratively with the Dining Room Manager to ensure an efficient room service process
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of point of sale system
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Prior experience as a Server in Upscale Dining, Banquet, Catering, Hotel, Club, Resort or Restaurant setting
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
