About The Role
As the Wellness Coordinator at Belmont Village, you will oversee and manage clinical and care aspects of the community while supporting the Director of Nursing in wellness initiatives, regulatory compliance and quality monitoring. You will coordinate and communicate with healthcare practitioners, ancillary providers, pharmacies, family members, and staff as needed ensuring timely clinical interventions and follow-up. You will use your prior leadership and supervisory experience to provide direct supervision, guidance, and coaching to Caregivers and Medication Technicians where applicable.

About The Role

Typical Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of the community Wellness Center
- Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information
- Provide medication administration as needed to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessary
- Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of the Caregivers and Medication Technicians or Medication Aides where applicable
- Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner
- Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports
- Assisting our Director of Resident Care Services in maintaining regulatory compliance and enhancing resident satisfaction in our reliable nursing services
- Assisting in maintaining and training of infection control and hazard communication programs for Belmont Village
Requirements
- Active Nursing license in the State in which this community is located
- CPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends and holidays
- Regular attendance is essential to meet the needs of the residents and the business
- Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to critically think and problem-solve in stressful or urgent situations
- Dependable and self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, adept at guiding and directing teams
- Works with a sense of urgency while paying close attention to detail
- More than one year of medication management experience
- Prior direct supervisory experience
