New Construction! Belmont Village Senior Living - Building Engineer
Belmont Village San Ramon represents a revolutionary approach to senior housing. As the Building Engineer of this newly constructed 6 story community, you will manage a team of housekeepers & a Maintenance Assistant and ensure all spaces are well maintained and ready for move-ins. The ideal candidate is collaborative, tech savvy, works with a sense of urgency, has proven success managing teams and enjoys hands-on maintenance work in a fast paced high rise multi-unit senior living community.
Life Safety Code knowledge is required as well as a commitment to exceptional customer service. This is a salaried position with annual bonus opportunities. Experience in multi-family housing, hospitality or large senior living community or CCRC community maintenance is strongly preferred.
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures the building maintenance program is well maintained and ensures all company housekeeping standards are met
- Ensures all life safety code requirements for assisted living and memory care communities are met and maintains documentation to support
- Manages electronic work order system & completes or delegates repairs as needed
- Coordinates with outside vendors as needed for maintenance & supplies
- Conducts apartment inspections and coordinates make-ready process
- Responds to after-hours maintenance related emergency calls
- Manages maintenance technician assistant and housekeeping department
