What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Outside Sales position at Belmont Village?
PURPOSEThis position promotes Belmont Village services through developing community awareness and generating qualified referral traffic in order to achieve and maintain occupancy at or above the budgeted census level.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelops business relationships of trust with key area physicians, medical communities, and entities which have a relevant senior clientele.Works collaboratively with sales team colleagues conducting community tours as needed and communicates community services, programs, and pricing policies to our customers.Utilizes a strategic approach to effectively execute sales and marketing processes and procedures Maintains an accurate and thorough referral contact list using a CRM lead databasePlans, organizes, and participates in marketing events for professionals and relevant customer baseEnsures sales service fulfillment by maintaining communications with residents, families, and referral sources for future referrals.Knows and understands senior resources and the competitive environment through in-person visits in the local market with respect to services, programs, and price offerings.REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of business development or relevant outside sales experience with an established local referral network Proficient in written and verbal English Excellent telephone and communication skills Demonstration of ability to establish long-term relationships Interest in working with the senior population Computer experience and ability to use or learn to use CRM database software Ability to travel locally to fulfill job responsibilities Ability to work flexible schedules in 24 hour operation including weekendsWE CARE ABOUT YOU!Belmont Village Senior Living offers full-time management employees benefit packages including performance based bonus opportunities,medical, dental & vision insurance, prescription benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid personal days, 401(k) savings with employer match, short-term disability, long-term disability, & life insurance.
