Your Typical Daily Responsibilities
Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standardsFollow recipes, manage portion control and ensure attractive plate presentationProperly manage cook times while preparing and multitasking several orders at a timeMaintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and proceduresFollow checklists and company procedures to ensure kitchen is stocked and well maintained at all timesSkills Required for Success
Being flexible and adaptable to different schedules, tasks and evolving needs within the departmentAbility to actively listen, observe, identify and anticipate guests needs with a strong focus on customer serviceAbility to follow detailed instruction while working as part of a team to achieve a collective goalDemonstrated ability to read, write and understand EnglishOUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write and speak proficient EnglishMinimum of 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or an equivalent environmentAbility to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and holidays as neededWHAT SETS YOU APART
