You will support our licensed nurses with administrative tasks as needed. This is an excellent position for candidates who aspire to someday be a licensed nurse.TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer Medications and Provide Personal Care : Follow physician's orders and community guidelines for administering routine medications and providing assistance with ADL care as needed
- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse.
- Vital Sign Monitoring : Take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects.
- Shift Communication : Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
- Customer Satisfaction : Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided resulting in overall customer satisfaction
- Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all resident rights, state, and federal regulations, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a C.N.A or caregiver in a licensed community or facility
- Current certification as required by State Regulations
