Organizational Relationship
or Line of Authority: Directly responsible to the District Principal in all matters pertaining to the building. Jointly responsible to appropriate Principal and Supervisors in areas of instruction and curriculum.
Statement of Duties:
•Responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the Principal, Supervisors, and directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Saugus School Committee.
•Team teaching, interdisciplinary approach.
•Willingness to participate in extra-curricula activities.
Qualifications:
•Preferred Licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Massachusetts.
•Minimum of 1 year of college, Associate’s Degree preferred.
•Knowledge of curriculum in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Secondary Education.
•Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
