What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visiting Assistant Professor/Visiting Instructor of Economics and Business position at Beloit College?
The Beloit College Department of Economics and Business invites applications for a 1-year visiting position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for PhDs or at the rank of Visiting Instructor for ABDs, beginning fall semester 2025. Candidates must have completed or anticipate completion of a Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, or related fields. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching is necessary, and the Department of Economics and Business takes pride in our diverse faculty and the diversity of our students. Teaching responsibilities may include any subset of the following courses: Principles of Economics, Quantitative Methods, Econometrics, Corporate Finance, Investment and Portfolio Management, and Personal Finance.
