Since the grand opening of ABC Supply Stadium in 2021, the Sky Carp has been on a thrilling journey, achieving tremendous success with each passing year. Nestled in the heart of downtown Beloit, Wisconsin, along the picturesque Rock River, our team is a vibrant part of the city's transformative development. As High-A affiliate of the prestigious Miami Marlins, we proudly host 66 electrifying home games throughout the season. Beyond baseball, our versatile stadium is a backdrop for various events, from lively concerts and hilarious comedy shows to enchanting Christmas light displays. A trainee with the Beloit Sky Carp works in an organization and environment that is recognized as one of the best in minor league baseball. The Sky Carp hope to provide each trainee valuable work experience, and great preparation for a full-time position with the Sky carp or other sports organizations. The position is seasonal, generally limited to a maximum of 30 hours per week and does not include benefits other than hourly pay.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in acting as a liaison for event sponsors, ensuring transparent communication, prompt asset delivery, and outstanding customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Assist with crafting and implementing tailored activation plans that resonate with our sponsors, bringing their agreements to life and delivering tangible ROI.
- Using platforms like Canva, design compelling sponsorship presentations for new and renewing clients and craft detailed recap decks that showcase the successful elements of each partnership.
- Help ensure sponsors’ brands are seamlessly woven into the fabric of event experiences through striking signage, engaging promotional materials, creative consumer promotions, and meaningful community programs.
- Assist in diligently tracking document sponsorship deliverables to guarantee all contractual commitments are fulfilled while providing comprehensive post-event reports highlighting sponsors' involvement’s value and impact.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Development Director to scout and develop new partnership opportunities, coordinating initial meetings to explore collaborative ventures. Additionally, this position will assist with monthly sponsor mixers that foster relationships with current and prospective partners.
- Assist with the Sky Carp Marketing and Brand Development teams to design captivating marketing materials related to corporate partnerships, including press releases, email newsletters, advertisements, graphics, videos, event programs, and beyond.
- Maintain flexibility to be present for all Sky Carp and ABC Supply Stadium public events, with schedules shared in advance for effective planning.
- Provide support and assistance during all 66 home games, integral in delivering a memorable experience for fans and sponsors alike.

Experience and Education
Previous customer service experience is required; sales experience is a plus. Must currently be enrolled in an accredited university seeking a degree in Business Administration or another related field.
Position Type / Expected Hours
This is a part-time, seasonal, non-exempt position. Hours and days of operation may vary according to business needs to include weekends and evenings. This position is generally limited to a maximum of 30 hours per week.
