Position Overview : The Housing Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of residential houses, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of care for residents. This role requires flexibility, strong leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Management :
Oversee daily operations of residential houses to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Conduct site-specific training for staff as needed.
Ensure personal care plans and behavior data sheets are updated and followed.
Staff Support :
Schedule and coordinate shifts to maintain adequate staffing.
Provide on-site support and training for staff to ensure quality service delivery.
Handle call-offs, last-minute shift changes, staff replacements, be available to cover shifts if necessary.
Quality Assurance :
Monitor homes to ensure they are clean, safe, and meet the needs of residents.
Conduct routine checks and evaluations of each house to ensure proper functioning.
Documentation and Reporting :
Ensure accurate and timely completion of personal care sheets and behavior data sheets.
Maintain comprehensive records for compliance and review.
Travel :
Travel between housing locations as required; reliable transportation is a must.
Respond promptly to on-site needs or emergencies.
Resident Care :
Ensure all homes provide a welcoming and supportive environment for residents.
Address and resolve issues related to resident behavior or care as needed.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in a similar position.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to ensuring high-quality care and operational excellence.
Compensation :
Starting at $22 / hour
After a 6-month probationary period, pay may increase to $25 / hour based on performance evaluation.
