Job Overview
We are an owner-operated General Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management, excels at interpreting blueprints and schematics, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires outstanding leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a dedication to quality and safety throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site construction activities, ensuring projects adhere to specifications, timelines, and safety regulations.
- Lead on-site meetings with clients, designers, inspectors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure seamless workflow and timely project delivery.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents to guide project execution.
- Utilize Asana and CompanyCam for document management, plan markups, and team collaboration.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce quality control measures, and address potential issues proactively.
- Manage and adjust project schedules, ensuring milestones are met while upholding superior craftsmanship.
- Train and mentor junior staff in construction best practices, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics; familiarity with using an ohmmeter is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and resolve on-site challenges.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering high-quality results on schedule.
