Job Description
The Beverage Server position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The position is also responsible for serving food and beverages in accordance to Belterra Casino Resort standards.
- The Beverage Server provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
- Recognizes guests immediately with a friendly, courteous greeting and informs them of daily specials, soup of the day, etc. Also acts as a “walking information center” by providing information on all aspects of Belterra Casino Resort & Spa services and facilities.
- The Beverage Server assists guests with beverage selection, demonstrating salesmanship with complete product knowledge.
- Ensures guest satisfaction through quality checks and responsiveness to guest complaints.
- The Beverage Server maintains a well-groomed, neat, and clean appearance, carrying out duties with attention to sanitation and safety.
- Anticipates, identifies, and provides for guest needs.
- The Beverage Server performs inventories and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with beverage, and wine service
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Indiana ABC Permit (Liquor License) required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through two (2) years’ service experience.
