ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Gathers information from customers by phone or in person and provides information on relocation services; gets and registers orders for installation, third party services, or change in service.
Maintain up to date knowledge of tariffs and contract carriage agreements.
Collects and examines all pertinent information from customer and completes contract forms, determine charges for service requested, and handles special requirements; maintain current account profile list with appropriate discounts and special instructions that apply to the account; enters and adjust information in appropriate software.
Follows-up with customers to inform on moving status and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Track shipments for driver assignment, destinations services and claim follow-up; communicate any shipment changes to dispatch and driver.
Assist with complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
QUALIFICATIONS

· Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must be proficient in the use of standard software packages, including Microsoft Office.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Preferred experience in household goods customer service.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
· Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.

· Proficiency with office computer equipment and software, particularly Microsoft Office products.
