As a New Graduate Nurse at Belton Regional Medical Center, you will be part of a supportive team-based environment that fosters growth and development.
The HCA Nurse Residency Program is a year-long program designed to give you hands-on experience in a clinical setting. You will work collaboratively with experienced nurse educators and leaders to establish valuable clinical and critical thinking skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Performing procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
- Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient response.
- Providing exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating their needs.
- Teaching patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures.
Eligibility for this role requires:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
