Job Description
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT at Belton Regional Medical Center, you will work in our 80 bed acute care facility. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician, including:
- Medical gas administration
- Aerosol therapy
- Obtaining and analyzing blood specimens
- Performing patient testing
- Operating and maintaining respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment
- Providing mechanical ventilation
- Maintaining artificial airways
- Assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Providing patient education
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care
