Working in a professional medical office setting, the Patient Care Coordinator is the first face and voice of our office and must be organized, dependable and personable. This position is full-time with an average compensation of $32,000 - $37,000 per year; compensation consists of an hourly wage and performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities
- Treat each patient as a dear loved one (family member) in all interactions, in-office greetings and phone communications; build rapport to ensure an outstanding office experience
- Set appointments from incoming and outbound calls using our proprietary script
- Verify insurance benefits
- Work closely with the Hearing Care Practitioner to manage the office schedule by prioritizing and confirming appointments and rescheduling cancellations and no-shows
- Manage office workflow including greeting patients, updating patient files, managing inventory, and entering data into the scheduling and Point of Sale system.
- Additional administrative duties as assigned.
- Professional, positive, and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a medical setting, while maintaining confidentiality of patient records.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
- General office/administrative skills including use of office equipment (computers/printer/phone system), filing, prioritizing workflow, answering phones, performing daily inventory counts.
- Excellent communication skills both in person and on the phone.
