What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney position at Beltran Litigation, P.A.?
We are looking for an experienced Attorney to join our team. This is a high-end, fast-paced litigation practice. We do exciting work: sovereign litigation, constitutional claims, defamation, election law, RICO, and more. We also have a healthy commercial litigation practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, conducting research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in court. The ideal candidate should have excellent research and communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of the law. Would prefer T14 Law School, BIGLAW, and/or federal clerkship experience.
The founder of the firm is in Tampa, but the practice is Statewide, and to an increasing degree, nationwide. Florida experience and/or Bar Membership is strongly preferred.
Attorneys will interview clients, investigate cases for possible representation, perform preliminary legal research, and draft initial complaints; attend meetings, depositions, and hearings; review documents and assist with discovery; and draft briefs, motions, and other filings. The position can be hourly or salaried, depending on the candidate. Part time would be considered, but the attorney must be responsive and reliable. The position is entirely remote, though it is conceivable that a trial or other event might involve travel or in-person interaction.
