Beltservice Corporation has an immediate opening for an industrial Maintenance Technician who will provide maintenance and repair for all facilities and equipment. This position is on 1st shift (Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).
Responsibilities & Duties
- Equipment and Facility Maintenance.
- Production equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
- New capital equipment installation projects.
- Work in a team setting and independently.
- Must be confident with smart devices like iPad and able to navigate apps.
- Perform tests and operate machinery to ensure it functions properly.
- Create work orders for maintenance jobs including repairs, new equipment installation, and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Industrial maintenance or technical coursework preferred.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
- 2 years of Maintenance experience working on industrial equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician for 2 years.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
- Proficient with the tools of the trade including core hands tools, power tools, welders, torches, multimeters, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting and have the ability to find root cause.
- Experience with CMMS is a plus.
- Overtime may be required at times.
