Beltway Companies, the largest commercial truck dealership in Maryland, is seeking a Diesel Technician with 2-5 years of experience to join our team. Diesel dealership experience is a plus. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients, employees, and communities. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in diesel engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine malfunctions; perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements.
- Use diagnostic tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
- Perform inspections to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
- Collaborate with other technicians to coordinate repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts inventory.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new repair techniques.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Diesel Technician.
- Diesel dealership experience is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, electrical components, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $25 to $40 per hour
