We’re looking for a Mid-Level Diesel Technician with 2-5 years of experience to join our North East, MD location. Diesel dealership experience is a plus. Position Overview: As a Mid-Level Diesel Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine malfunctions, performing necessary repairs to keep vehicles running smoothly
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Use diagnostic tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Conduct safety and environmental inspections to ensure vehicles meet all required standards
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to coordinate repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts inventory
- Stay current with industry trends and new repair techniques to provide the best service possible
- 2-5 years of experience as a Diesel Technician (required) Diesel dealership experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, electrical components, and diagnostic tools
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment
- A valid driver’s license is required
