As a Service Manager, you’ll be an integral part of our Service Department, leading a team of professionals to ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction for our clients. You’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly while supporting your team’s development and success.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive growth and success by overseeing Service Department profitability and growth, while ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and warranties
- Manage repair orders by approving external purchases and ensuring that all repair orders are handled efficiently, from pricing to timely payment
- Lead the team by ensuring proper distribution of work and conducting spot checks to keep repair orders on track
- Stay current on warranty updates, product changes, and industry regulations, maintaining a high standard of work
- Foster team development by providing training and ensuring a safe, organized, and clean work environment for all technicians and service staff
- Engage with customers by seeking new service business opportunities, clearly communicating charges, and helping improve operational efficiency
- Experience: 3-5 years of technical and/or supervisory experience in the medium/heavy-duty truck industry
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of trucks, maintenance, and repair processes
- Valid Driver’s License: Required to drive and test customer vehicles
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Microsoft programs and applications, organizational skills, and a CDL for road testing vehicles (a plus but not required)
- Competitive Compensation: The pay range for this role is between $55,000 to $70,000 annually, plus attainable bonus opportunities, based on experience and qualifications.
