- Prior experience as a Career & Technical Education teacher or School Counselor (at least 5 years of experience preferred)

- Assist with curriculum development to align with workforce trends, industry certifications, and post-secondary education and career pathways.
- Assist in implementing work-based learning experiences such as guest speakers, job shadows, and internships to enhance real-world relevance
- Support the coordination and implementation of student internships, ensuring meaningful, structured experiences that align with students’ career interests.
- Strengthen partnerships with local businesses, industries, and community organizations to expand career readiness opportunities.
- Career Readiness Facilitator may be called upon for extended day, as well as extended year professional development and coaching.
- Engages in ongoing professional learning to remain current with career readiness frameworks, instructional best practices, and industry demands.
- Data collection, analysis, and presentations for CTE programming, work-based learning experiences, and internships.
- Support the alignment of career readiness initiatives with state and local goals.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/Skills:
Terms of Employment: BEA contract - 9 Months
Basic Function: Assist the Director of Student Services & Career Readiness to support career and technical education (CTE) teachers, incorporate the work-based learning continuum into instruction, strengthen internship programs, and build community partnerships to enhance students’ career readiness.
