What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Belzer Equipment, Inc?
Belzer Equipment is looking for a Service Technician to perform diagnostic, service repairs and maintenance work on customers and dealer-owned agricultural equipment. We service Kubota, New Holland, Vermeer, Kinze and other brands.
Must be able to:
* Repair and service ag machines to include tractors, planters & balers.
* Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed using electrical and hydraulic schematics.
* Know how to dis-assemble and inspect machines efficiently and perform prompt service repair.
* Maintain records and account for all times, parts and supplies used in repairing equipment.
* Document each job by serial number, hour meter reading and tasks performed on unit.
* Utilize computer to research parts and technical information.
* Observe and inspect operation of machinery and equipment to verify repairs.
*Perform service at on site locations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of ag equipment.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills and computer literate.
- Valid driver’s license
- Diesel tech degree OR 3-5 years of experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Comprehensive compensation package including health, dental, vision, paid vacation, retirement plan, paid holidays with tool and uniform allowance. Bonus pay for productivity and service calls. Pay is flexible based on experience of applicant.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
