Litigation Associate

Belzer Law, a Boulder-based law firm recognized for its excellent and sophisticated legal advocacy, is expanding and looking for a highly skilled attorney with meaningful experience in civil litigation.

This position is ideal for an energetic, ambitious, driven individual who cares deeply about the quality of their work and exemplary service to clients.  This is a position with almost limitless potential and the opportunity for growth alongside the firm.

Requirements:

• Minimum four (4) years of complex civil litigation experience
• Ability to manage and oversee complex litigation cases, first-chair trials, attend hearings and depositions, draft motions and pleadings, and run point on all other aspects of litigating cases
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and an ability to work in high pressure/exciting environment while managing a significant case load
• Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent proofreading skills
• Exceptional legal research skills
• Good judgment, professionalism, proactiveness, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Extensive experience with all stages of litigation, as well as comprehensive knowledge of both Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
• Good sense of humor and team player
