As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Independent Technical Sales Consultant to cover the Tallahassee area and drive our ambitious growth targets.
Position Summary: As an Independent Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales opportunities, building relationships with industrial customers, and providing technical expertise on Belzona products and applications. This role requires a proactive, driven individual who thrives on developing new business and maintaining strong customer relationships within the assigned territory. The position will be based “on-territory” from your home although you will work closely with the head office team located in Miami, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow business within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within industrial sectors such as manufacturing, general industry, power generation, water treatment, and marine among others.
- Conduct site visits to potential and existing customers, provide tailored Belzona solutions, and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Work closely with application contractors and support their project needs.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and report on market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
The successful candidate must:
· Experience: Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial coatings, mechanical repair, or a related field.
· Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and understand Belzona’s product range and applications.
· Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently and managing time effectively.
· Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (valid driver’s license required).
· Physical Requirements:
o Ability to drive, walk, and conduct hands-on demonstrations when needed.
o Be capable and willing to learn the particulars of the Belzona business and a variety of bespoke solutions for many industrial sectors
o Have strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to use computers and software/programs effectively
o Must have a high mechanical aptitude and ability to think and make correct decisions in the face of changing conditions
