Warehouse Agent

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Agent with shipping documentation expertise and hazardous material handling to join our Miami Lakes team.
Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Warehouse Agent will be responsible for preparing shipping documentation correctly and ensuring accurate and efficient picking, packing, and dispatch of all domestic and international orders in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare orders for dispatch including preparation of proper shipping and export documentation.
· Process documentation for shipments by air, ocean, and ground complying with local, state, and international regulations and following hazmat standards.
· Review and verify orders for shipping maintaining efficient communication with warehouse staff and freight forwarders. Coordinate daily freight pick up for orders.
· Handle freight terms and domestic and international shipping documents via FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
· Pick, unload, and pack daily orders.
· Conduct stock check of inventory and discrepancies.
· Examine stock items for damages and defects.
· Log and distribute all incoming packages.
· Coordinate daily freight pick up for orders.
· Follow strictly shipping and warehouse protocols and procedures.
· Perform physical inventory count.
· Assist to control inventory movements and splits using inventory control system.
· Assist with customer queries and send tracking numbers to customers once order has shipped.
· Work closely with Customer Service Team to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
· Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies.
· Examine stock items for damage and defects, reporting any problems to the manager.
· Reorder warehouse supplies as necessary.
Experience/Skills:
· Previous experience in a similar warehouse role/industry
· Working knowledge of barcoding systems for inventory management
· Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and Spanish
· Valid forklift license is preferred, but not essential, as training will be provided
· Shipping documentation and clerical experience
· Familiar with Hazmat paperwork
· Good personal organization with high attention to details
· Ability to manage multiple tasks
Safety and Physical Demands:
· Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated and work safely at all times
· Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, gripping, pushing, pulling, and standing and sitting long periods of time
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to fully understand and comply all company and work site safety requirements, rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, and documented health and safety requirements
Working Environment:
Working in a climate-controlled warehouse production environment.
