RCP Motor Mechanic – Entry-Level & Experienced Candidates Welcome!
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of vertical motors up to 12,000 HP (13.2kW Voltage).
Work under the guidance of senior mechanics to troubleshoot and resolve issues such as oil leaks and vibration problems .
Conduct incoming and outgoing motor test runs .
Gain experience performing a variety of mechanical tasks as part of your role.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical inclination and a strong desire to learn – previous experience is a plus, but not required!
Must be able to work with basic hand tools and learn to use M&TE tools (dial indicators, micrometers, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, etc.).
Willingness to complete Radiological Worker Training annually (cost covered by employer).
Ability to lift 50 pounds .
Positive attitude, good communication skills , and a willingness to work hard.
Basic forklift, crane, or rigging experience is a plus, but not required.
Overtime may be required (nights / weekends).
