Bemana is searching for a Construction Estimator with expertise in mechanical estimation while still understanding electrical related to solar power plants, natural gas power plants, turbines, and reciprocating engines.
This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, ensuring accurate and competitive bidding, and providing financial forecasting to support project management.
Position Offers
90,000–$125,000 base salary. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities :
Develop comprehensive cost estimates for all phases of electrical construction projects, from initial concept to final construction.
Prepare accurate project bids, considering material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs while analyzing market conditions and project specifications.
Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from project plans and specifications using estimation software.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
Assess project risks related to cost, schedule, and scope, recommending mitigation strategies.
Assist in budget control by monitoring project costs against estimates, analyzing variances, and suggesting corrective actions.
Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing, secure competitive rates, and maintain strong industry relationships.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including estimate reports, cost breakdowns, and change order justifications.
Participate in project reviews and pre-bid meetings to ensure all necessary data is collected for accurate estimations.
Experience :
Minimum of five years of experience in construction estimation, with at least two years focused on electrical projects in the power generation sector (solar, natural gas, turbines, reciprocating engines).
Experience estimating large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $5 million.
Certification in Construction Estimating or Cost Engineering preferred.
Proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar.
Knowledge of electrical systems, renewable energy technologies, and power plant operations.
