Bemana is searching for a Construction Manager with expertise in electrical projects, specifically in the development of solar power plants, natural gas power plants, turbines, and reciprocating engines. Our client aims to electrify Indian Country, provide reliable and affordable alternatives to the big utilities, and promote the use of green technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Oversight – Manage all phases of construction, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution for solar, natural gas, turbine, and engine installations.
- Team Leadership – Lead, mentor, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, electricians, subcontractors, and safety officers, to achieve project goals.
- Budget and Resource Management – Oversee budget forecasts, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Quality Assurance – Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all construction activities meet or exceed industry standards and specifications.
- Safety Compliance – Ensure adherence to OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant safety regulations. Maintain a safe work environment by implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures.
- Stakeholder Communication – Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations regarding project progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Documentation and Reporting – Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final project close-out documents.
- Risk Management – Identify potential risks early in the project cycle and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Innovation and Efficiency – Implement new construction techniques and technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, or improve environmental impact, particularly in renewable energy projects.
