What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive-Northeast position at beMatrix USA?
This position is responsible for effectively acquiring new customers, selling products or services to existing customers & maintaining positive business relationships. The Account Executive must maintain a thorough understanding of the beMatrix products and efficiently guide customers & prospects through the purchase process. They are responsible for managing their assigned territory and meeting revenue goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date sales activity documentation, sales records & client records within company CRM
- Effective management of travel & entertainment budget
- Attend industry Tradeshows and Events as required
- Continually prospect for new customers as well as promptly work all supplied Leads and MQLs.
- Effectively research prospects and customers businesses to understand their decision process, decision criteria, decision hierarchy, and who the economic buyer is.
- Develop meaningful relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Proactively work opportunities including negotiations with key stakeholders such that a strong close rate is maintained.
- Market and promote any new product, upcoming innovations, and opportunities, including our current portfolio of products, accessories and tools.
- Collaborate with account management, design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed.
- Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) of our products, sales tools, beCAD software, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Schedule and execute a mix of Face to Face and virtual meetings with prospects and existing customers in accordance with team expectations
- Participate in customer facing industry events and local association meetings to stay top of mind with the companies customer base.
- Providing ongoing product training to existing customers.
- Ensures all sales presentations are made in a manner consistent with sales training, with care taken to be professional, honest and within sales policy guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Sales POD(s) and Technical Trainers to ensure prospects and existing customers receive stellar customer service
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
- 3 years of consistent, demonstration of meeting or exceeded sales goals in B2B environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, CRM (HubSpot is of benefit), LinkedIn, and related softare applications
- Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
- Ability to lift 15- 25 lbs
- 25-35% travel per month required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the organization
- Ability to operate with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to conduct oneself in accordance with beMatrix’s operating values, which include operating with honesty and integrity, and in a spirit of teamwork and respect
