We are seeking a skilled and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. This role involves developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Design and implement evidence-based behavior intervention programs.
- Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve client goals.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of services provided.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues.
- Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and staff on behavior management strategies.
- Implement evidence-based interventions in various settings, ensuring adherence to best practices in behavioral therapy.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and support.
Qualifications:
- Must hold current BCBA certification.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
Skills:
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Strong background in patient care within the behavioral health field.
- Ability to conduct behavioral therapy sessions effectively.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices related to behavioral health.
- Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes related to behavioral issues.
