What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Aquatics Workers position at Bemidji Area Schools?
Summer Positions exist for Water Safety Instructors (WSI), Lifeguards, and Swim Club Coaches in the
Community Education Aquatics Program.
WSI/Lifeguards: The hourly pay range is $14.81-$18.16. Daytime and evening hours are available. Applicants must have current American Red Cross certification in WSI and/or Lifeguard Training plus CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification. These certifications may be obtained through Community Education.
Swim Club Coaches: The hourly pay range is $15.42-$19.79. Coaches will work 8 to 15 hours per week. To qualify applicants must have CPR, First Aid, and safety training for swim coaches or lifeguard training.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.81 - $19.79 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
